Meet the Bakers

Sunny Crumb is run by three people: two bakers and one person managing the front counter and orders. We start work at 4 AM, well before sunrise, so the display case is full by opening time.

Baking bread on this schedule isn't glamorous, but there's something satisfying about a quiet kitchen at dawn, the smell of proofing dough, and watching the first loaves come out of the oven just as the sun comes up.

We keep our menu small on purpose — a handful of breads and pastries, done well, rather than a huge menu done quickly.
